March Generosity Madness: Support Your School

March Generosity Madness is back, and the excitement is building across our local schools. This friendly competition brings together four school communities to rally support for their school’s donor advised funds at the Defiance Area Foundation.

Each school has a School Champion helping lead the charge and encourage their community to give. Throughout the month, these champions will be sharing why their school fund matters and how it helps create opportunities for students.

These funds are designed to support schools not just today, but for generations to come. Gifts made today continue to grow and provide support year after year.

Below are the schools participating in this year’s March Generosity Madness.

Ayersville Local Schools

The Ayersville School Fund supports opportunities that benefit students, teachers, and school programs. From classroom needs to student experiences, this fund allows the community to invest in the future of Ayersville.

Our School Champions are helping lead the excitement this year

Each participating school has selected a champion to represent their community during March Generosity Madness. These champions are sharing why their school fund matters and encouraging classmates, families, alumni, and community members to get involved. We are grateful to Brady Woolace (Tinora), Mak Cooler (Defiance), Kendra Waldron (Ayersville) and Anthony Singer/Erica Collins (Fairview) for helping rally support and school pride throughout this friendly competition.

How to Support Your School

While you can learn more about each school by visiting their websites, all donations for March Generosity Madness must be made through the Defiance Area Foundation.

When you give through the Foundation, your gift goes directly to the school fund you choose. Because these are donor advised funds held at the Foundation, your gift has the opportunity to grow over time, helping create an even greater impact for the school and its students.
