The Power of One in Action
We’ve seen that power firsthand through the incredible work of organizations supported by our community:
Kinship Lantern of Hope is helping grandparents and relatives raising children by providing financial assistance for essential needs. One small grant helped 71 children last year, and that number continues to grow.
Defiance College’s Loaner Laptop Program ensures students have access to the technology they need to succeed. Since 2022, students have checked out laptops over 1,000 times, proving that one tool can open many doors.
The Defiance Parks Nature Center Project will soon offer educational signs and learning spaces for families to explore local wildlife, turning one idea into a space for discovery and connection.
