The Defiance Area Foundation Gala is more than a celebration — it’s a powerful way to give back to our community. For the first time ever, we are hosting a signature gala to raise support for our Community Fund, which allows us to award grants to local nonprofits and vital community projects throughout Defiance County.

Tickets are now available for purchase at www.defianceareafoundation.org/gala. Tickets are $150 per person and include dinner, drinks, entertainment, and the priceless opportunity to give back locally.

Why We’re Hosting the Gala

In the past year, the Foundation received 41 grant requests totaling more than $668,000. Unfortunately, due to funding limits, we were only able to award about $235,000 — leaving nearly 65% of requests unmet.

This Gala aims to change that. Proceeds will directly support our Community Fund, which empowers the Foundation to meet needs as they arise and fuel long-term impact in Defiance County.
